Repeal Day, December 5, commemorates the anniversary of the ratification of the 21st amendment in 1933, which repealed the 18th amendment, thus officially ending Prohibition in the United States.
Eighty-six years later, it is a cause for celebration. Repeal Day® is a registered trademark of the Museum of the American Cocktail, The concept of celebrating Repeal Day is championed by Portland, OR journalist & mixologist Jeffrey Morganthaler.
