In 2018, comedian Janelle James took over the reigns of the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival (now The Janelle James Comedy Festival) in Brooklyn, presenting three nights of stand-up comedy. The 2nd annual Janelle James Comedy Festival takes place December 5-7, 2019 at The Bell House in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
