The 2019 NBA playoffs started on April 13.
Two-time defending champions Golden State Warriors, lead by Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, & Klay Thompson, are the top seed in the West. The Milwaukee Bucks, lead by Giannis Antetokounmpo, are the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Locally, the sixth seeded Brooklyn Nets faced the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round, while the NY Knicks are out of the playoffs for the sixth year in a row (and 14th of 18!)

The top 4 seeds in each conference prevailed in the first round, with the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers advancing to the second round in the Eastern Conference, and Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets advancing in the Western Conference.
In the Conference finals, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Toronto Raptors in the East, and Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in the West.
Toronto and Golden State will play in the NBA Finals.
