We are sad to hear the news of the passing of singer-songwriter Greg Trooper, who died January 15, 2017 from pancreatic cancer, just two days after his 61st birthday. He was an amazing songwriter, releasing 13 albums from 1986-2015 in a career that spanned over thirty years, and took him from New Jersey, to NYC, Nashville, Rockaway and Brooklyn, and around the world. He will be buried at the historic Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn on January 23. A Celebration of the Life of Greg Trooper is scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Mark’s Church-in-the-Bowery in the East Village.
Our condolences his wife Claire and son Jack, and to the Trooper and Mullally families.
