Live Music Spotlight: The Saw Doctors
Saw Doctors tour schedule for the USA for March, 2009 has twelve dates,
including two New York shows at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square
on Friday March 13 and Saturday March 14.
The Saw Doctors have a new DVD, Clare Island to Cape Cod,
and a companion live CD, Live at The Melody Tent.
The DVD consists of a new documentary film which Steve Lock shot last August
and September – it includes some great concert footage from the Cape Cod Melody Tent show last August.

Every year during the St Patrick’s season, NYC singer/songwriter Joe Hurley salutes his Irish heritage with a blazing all-night long musical extravaganza that celebrates Ireland’s musical gifts to the world — The All-Star Irish Rock Revue. Gathering friends and performers from NYC punk-rock legends to Broadway stars to best-selling novelists to star comedians and rock legends — from Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famers to up and coming local singers, the All-Star Irish Rock Revue is “the biggest St Pat’s party in town” Irish Voice; and raises a glass to ‘The Great Irish Songbook’ as the guest singers perform the songs of Ireland’s greatest.

The Amazing New York Race: Underground Edition
Part scavenger hunt, part obstacle course and ALL NEW YORK.
A series of clues leads you around the city performing physical and mental challenges along the way.
POGO’s winter races are all underground so you can avoid the cold
Learn about what lurks beneath the surface of NYC while having a fun, interactive experience
It is a great way to fix that cabin fever you have been having and get out of the house
You can sign up as a team or as an individual and get assigned to a team.
Each member of the winning team receives a New York City gift package.
The Race begins at Tracks Bar in Penn Station at 1:30pm and takes four hours.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring an unlimited Metrocard.
One member of the team should have a digital camera or camera phone.
