The Boomtown Rats
Legendary Irish rockers The Boomtown Rats, fronted by Bob Geldolf, re-formed in 2013 with 4 of the original 6 band members currently on tour. They are coming to New York on September 26, 2014. Geldolf is joined by three original bandmates Pete Briquette, Simon Crowe & Garry Roberts. They will headline a two-concert tour called The Big Session, with fellow 80s-era Irish rockers The Stunning and contemporary Irish singer-songwriter Mundy. They will perform on Friday, September 26 at Terminal Five on the west side, and in Boston on September 28 at The Royale.
