Dempsey’s Weekly Trad Session lead by John Nevin
The Irish music trad session at Dempsey’s Pub is NYC’s longest running open Session (that does not mean it is a “beginner’s” session by the way; it simply means ALL musicians are welcome).
They host a special guest artist every three weeks to lead the session. Guest musicians have included: Linda Hickman, Patrick Mangan, John Redmond, Tony DeMarco, Caitlin Warbelow, Brian Conway, Pio Ryan, Rose Flanagan, Donie Ryan, Don Meade, Peter Rufli, Cleek Schrey, Heather Bixler, Joey Mullen, Liz Hanley, Tom Dunne, Matt Mancuso and many more.
