2 Members of the Saw Doctors tour the U.S.

After their sold out March 2013 tour of the US and after touring for 25 years, the ever popular Irish rock band, The Saw Doctors, decided to take a year-long sabbatical. However, knowing that rust never sleeps, two band members and friends, Leo Moran and Anthony Thistlethwaite, have decided to team up and put together an acoustic show to take on the road. They kicked off their US tour on September 20 and will hit NYC on Monday, October 7. The show will include different takes on well-known Saw Doctors’ songs. Leo explains: “We’ll be playing songs acoustically in our own style; well-known, lesser-known and unknown ones, and telling stories and sharing whatever else comes to mind as we make our way from show to show in our Dodge Avenger rental carâ€.
