The ALS ice bucket challenge is ubiquitous! People have never been more aware of this dreadful disease.
Quinn 4 the Win, a fundraising effort started in support of Westchester man Pat Quinn, is doing its part to help raise funds and awareness of ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, aka Lou Gehrig’s disease.
In addition to donations coming in via the ice bucket challenge, there are several local fundraising events that will also contribute to the cause, and will culminate with Quinnstock and Quinntoberfest, benefit concerts on Sept. 20 & Oct. 5, 2014.
