Comedian Will Carey reacted to his parent’s divorce, losing his best friend, and romantic rejection by writing a lot of jokes and acting out sexually. Laughing Through the Sad combines, long form stories, stand up comedy, and music to tell a deeply personal narrative where painful life stories are made bearable with jokes.
