Virtual East Durham Irish Festival

May 29, 2021 - May 30, 2021

Every Memorial Day weekend, the small upstate town of East Durham hosts an Irish music festival. Hundreds of New Yorkers invade the Catskills town, staying at a bunch of Irish-owned motels and “resorts” for the long weekend, unofficially launching the summer season. Due to the uncertainty caused by the covid-19 pandemic, this year’s festival will be virtual. The Festival has teamed up with Emerald Isle Media to present 2 days of Irish music streamed via facebook live.
