Rocky Sullivan’s session is Tuesday, not Monday. It goes from 9-ish to 11. Good session. Arrive earlier for Irish lessons.

Hi, My husband is a trad irish musician from Clare now living inthe states. He has just returned from MAD Week in Washington DC where he was a member of the faculty. He had an opportunity to meet some new musicians and also meet up with some old friends he has played with over the years. Heis often asked if he has been to the NY Irish scene, so we are thinking of visiting. Can you suggest places to go that have trad sessions of a good standard? He is often asked if he has met Tony DeMarco but since he has only been in the states for a few years and not spent item in NYC that has not happened. Any information you might have would be appreciated. Sincerely, Susan Coyne

Myself and my wife are visiting New York in early August and enjoy a ‘Pie and a Pint, and a good old sing along pub.
My local in the UK was an Irish Pub and we used to go over to Ireland and have a good old drink, play darts, football, sing song and good fun.
Those days are gone now as we work abroad ourselves, but we are looking for a pub /or pubs that we can enjoy.
Your recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Ken

Lillie’s off Union Square on Saturday afternoons is top notch. You’ll likely find musicians of the calibre of Cillian Vallely and Mick Maloney.
