The 2017 MLB playoffs started on October 3 and continues throughout the month of October. (The World Series may even end in November if it goes 7 games). The New York Yankees and The Arizona Diamondbacks won the Wild Card round, advancing to compete in the Division Series against the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers, respectively. The other match-ups in the Division Series are Boston Red Sox vs. Houston Astros in the ALDS and Washington Nationals vs. Chicago Cubs in the NLDS.
The Astros beat the Red Sox 3 games to 1. They will play the Yankees, who beat the Indians 3-2.
The Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks 3 games to 0. They play the Cubs, who beat the Nationals 3-2.
The League Championship Series started Friday, Oct. 13. The Dodgers defeated the Cubs 4 games to 1. The Astros defeated the Yankees 4 games to 3.
The World Series starts Oct. 24
