Mets Home Opener 2012

Happy opening day!  The NY Mets open their 2012 season today, April 5 at Citifield against the Atlanta Braves.  Johan Santana returns to the mound for the first time since 2010.  Game time is 1:10pm.

After the game, McFadden’s will be hosting an event for the Ron Darling Foundation.   Mets broadcaster and former star pitcher Ron Darling will be at McFadden’s after the game to hang out with the fans and speak about his foundation.
All season long, every donaation of $5 or more will be entered in the McFadden’s Sports Fan of the Month.  Winner will receive 4 of Ron’s personal tickets to teh game, plus access to batting practice and a visit to the booth with Ron.

The Ron Darling Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit charity that fights Type 1 Diabetes (aka juvenile diabetes).
McFadden’s will have a line-item on all guest checks where you can make a donation to the foundation.  No donation is too small. Every penny donated will go towards families in need of help.
