Bloom’s Day commemorates James Joyce’s epic novel, Ulysses* and the exploits of the main character, Leopold Bloom. It is celebrated worldwide on June 16, the anniversary Bloom’s journey through Dublin on that day in 1904.

The 36th annual tribute to the life, language, and love of Jame Joyce’s timeless prose with wonderful actors and avid Joyceans. This year’s event features a breathtaking whirlwind tour of all 18 chapters, hosted by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon; Kirsten Vangsness (Criminal Minds) as Molly Bloom; and an exploration of the court battles and impassioned efforts to save or condemn Joyce’s contentious book, hosted by author Kevin Birmingham (The Most Dangerous Book: The Battle for James Joyce’s Ulysses).
