About the event:
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Special Agent Thomas Patrick Cloherty, age 37, died of cardiac arrest on December 8, 2005, while on duty at Acadia National Park in Maine. He was born March 17th, Saint Patrick’s Day, 1968. A loving husband and father, Tom left behind his wife Mary Catherine and five young children – Myles, Grace, Conan, Aidan and Mairead. Tom is also mourned by his mother Helen Cloherty; his brothers Timothy, Christopher, and Terrence; and his sisters Tami and Erin. Tim Cloherty’s band Booga Sugar has held an annual benefit for an education fund for his nephews and nieces since 2006, featuring Irish music (traditional to rock) with local NYC celebrities helping out. Bill Ryan and PJ O’Connor from The Bogmen and Chris Campion from the Knockout Drops are expected.
