50 First Jokes NYC
50 First Jokes 2012 is the sixth annual barrage of the freshest jokes by New York’s hottest up and coming comics.  The idea is to get 50 comics to do two minutes of brand new material. The caveat: the jokes must be written after the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve.
50 First Jokes 201250 FIRST JOKES is celebrating its 6th year in NYC and it’s 2nd year in LA in 2012.  The show has been a sold-out comedy sensation since its inception and has received notable mentions in The New York Times, Brooklyn Vegan, and Comedy Central Insider, among other outlets. It’s been nominated for ‘Excellence in Comedy New York (ECNY)’ awards in the categories of Best Variety Show and Best Comedy Event. The comedians performing on the show have had Comedy Central specials, have appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Office, IFC, College Humor, The Montreal Comedy Festival, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SXSW, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The New York Times and have written for The Colbert Report, Family Guy, VH1, The Onion, The Daily Show, Saturday Night Live, Tosh.0 and MTV.
