For more information, visit the page on facebook. They will be working with reputable all volunteer organizations in Long Island / NYC on this project. (You know, the ones that don’t ask for any publicity but constantly do good things w/no overhead costs). These partners will work directly with those who have lost their homes and belongings to determine exactly what is needed. This is different than just collecting supplies. They will be able to purchase what is needed and deliver directly to where it is needed.
Adam’s Angels is a completely volunteer-driven program in memory of firefighter Adam David Rand (FDNY, Squad 288 & Bellmore Volunteer Fire Department), who became an angel on September 11, 2001 while saving others.
