a weeklong celebration of entrepreneur Samuel Fraunces purchasing the home at 54 Pearl Street and turning into a popular 18th century tavern,

“Fraunces Tavern® 1762-2012” events include:
• Free Museum admission with the purchase of an entrée.
• The original lease from 1762 will be on display in the Museum.
• Museum hours will be extended.
• A unique beer tasting battle between the breweries of New England and Old England
• The US launch of Derek Warfield, founding member of the Wolfe Tones, new album, “Washington’s Irish,” which uses the American Revolution for inspiration.
