The 2017 NBA playoffs kicked off on April 15. Once again, no local teams made the playoffs this year. Sixteen teams made the playoffs. Eight teams are in the second round vying for the championship, which will be crowned in June.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, lead by LeBron James, Kyrie Irving & Kevin Love, will attempt to defend their title. They advanced to the finals by defeating Indiana, Toronto & Boston, going 12-1. In the Western Conference, The Golden State Warriors are once again the #1 seed, lead by the trio of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. They swept their way threw 3 rounds, defeating Portland, Utah & San Antonio, going 12-0.
Game 1 starts on June 1st.
