Andrew Grene Foundation Benefit Concert

Three years ago in January, international relief worker Andrew Grene died in the earthquake that struck Haiti.  This January, tragedy struck local musician Ray Kelly, who died in an accident.  These two sad events are tied together in that Kelly used to perform with the Prodigals, the band founded by Andrew’s brother Greg.

Kelly and his band The Mickey Finns subsequently performed in the annual Andrew Grene Foundation Benefit Concert.  Thus this year’s will also raise funds for Ray Kelly’s family by sharing the proceeds with the Jude Kelly Fund, an educational fund for Ray Kelly’s son.

The concert will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.  Details below:

Andrew Grene Foundation Benefit Concert
A benefit concert for the AGF and the Jude Kelly Fund. The AGF has been hosting benefit concerts since Andrew died in January 2010, and this year the proceeds will be split with the Jude Kelly Fund, an educational fund for Ray Kelly’s son Jude. Ray died on January 9th 2013, and was lead singer of the Mickey Finns and former member of The Prodigals.
