First NYC screening of “McLean Avenue,” the TV series
Veteran Irish Voice writer Mike Farragher tells the tale of Sean, a down and out “Paddy Tenor” forced to move back in with Peg, his Irish mammy who is undergoing a sexual reawakening as a widow. Awkwardness and comedy ensue as mother and son bump into one another in the singles scene along McLean Ave. in Yonkers.
Soundtrack features Black 47, The Narrowbacks, Jameson’s Revenge, and The Prodigals.
