National Beer Day: April 7



Today is National Beer Day (according to National Day Calendar).  File this under any excuse to party, but the date commemorates the date in 1933 that the The Cullen–Harrison Act came into effect, thus re-legalizing the sale of beer in the United States, a stepping stone toward the complete repeal of Prohibition which would occur later in the year (Dec. 5).
