The 5th Annual New York City Beer Week is a 10 day celebration of craft beer throughout NYC. Running from Feb. 22 – Mar. 3, it includes festivals, beer walks, beer dinners, tastings, tap take-overs, specials & more.
Now produced by the the New York City Brewers Guild, it brings together all 12 NYC craft breweries, plus nationally and internationally renowned breweries, with over 300 events scattered throughout the city in move than 100 venues.
The 12 Guild breweries include Bronx Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery, Chelsea Brewing Co., City Island Brewery, La Birreria at Eataly, Harlem Brewing Co., Heartland Brewing Co., KelSo Beer Company, Rockaway Brewing Company, Shmaltz Brewing Co., Sixpoint Brewery and 508 GastroBrewery.

Big Hurt Beer Tasting

Baseball great Frank Thomas introduces “Big Hurt Beer” in New York at Foley’s.
He will be on hand to chat with fans and
Big Hurt Beer will be available at Foley’s for a good cause. The money from its sales will benefit to The NephCure Foundation, the only organization committed exclusively to support research seeking the cause of the potentially debilitating kidney disease Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and Nephrotic Syndrome. Foley’s will make a donation in honor of MLB’s Jim Duquette and his daughter, Lindsey, to whom he donated a kidney last year.
Note: Frank Thomas will NOT be signing any baseball memorabilia. He will sign bottles of Big Hurt beer with all proceeds going to the charity.
